The digital makers take the next steps after they have set up their basic camp and got things going. They aim to level up on their basic making to make their castaway life a little more comfortable. Some of them start foraging near their base camp and the remains of their boat to see what useful stuff they can salvage. It’s literally a treasure hunt where the best stuff isn’t gold or jewels but stuff like cardboard and wood!
Careful and meticulous, almost to the extent of being obsessive. Ryo’s seemingly endless attempt to electronically connect all things around him to tiny micro-controllers is matched by his keen sense of observation. He notices the tiniest details that others would easily miss.
Shuri is so shy that she could easily hide in a crowd. Beneath that quite exterior is a gentle soul with a heart big enough for the whole world and some. She’s always there with a kind word or a warm hug to bring cheer to the gloomiest of situations. She’s the team’s “Cheerleader without PomPoms”.
Adhat is a total outdoorsman equally comfortable with tinkering away in a maker lab surrounded by electronics. The coaches worry that his love for extreme activities (like parkour on the beach boulders) is going to get him into some serious trouble eventually. His spends a lot of time with Shuri… only because she’s the team medic and is constantly bandaging his cuts and scrapes.
Pepe can be a bit of a walking gloom zone. His pessimism switch seems to be locked at “ON” permanently, tending to look to the worstcase scenario of things as a starting point. This actually works well for the team because his outlook helps them troubleshoot stuff in the planning stages.
If Pepe is gloom and doom, Liana is all sunshine and rainbows. Eternally optimistic and cheerful Liana would be the one to find something positive in anything. (“I know the wild dog is chewing off my leg, but hey at least it won’t be hungry anymore, and I’d be saving lots of money by only needing to buy one shoe). You need something crazy to be done? Liana’s your prime candidate.
